I got a lovely new 'winter jacket', like a mac-style one with a belt 'round it but its not that warm at all! Please remember to wrap up (although I never do..) But because it wasn't really that effective I was pressed into getting a thicker one by my fiancee but I don't really like it very much..
This week I'm doing a long interview to support the album which the transcript of which I believe will be going on the website . Speaking of the album, its finished now and out!! Do you likeit? It really took me a long time to decide which songs to include and which to leave etc. Its quite hard sometimes when you're sequencing an album because, for example, you've done it and you're pretty happy with it an other people also think it works an then on your way home you suddenly get this pang an think "OH, but, maybe THAT track could be on it because..because..." etc. an then you end up throwing yourself into dissaray. So sometimes you just have to be ruthless an just sever your ties with it onces its finished. Like thrust the chart at them and bellow, "Right! That's the finalised tracklist, take it! Go on, take it! Take it away and out of my sight before I change my mind!" so then even if you do suddely get any ideas or urges you can't go back. A bit like handing in a long essay you keep thinking of ways to tweak all the way to the teacher's office.
I find unless you make an executive decision with these things and say "Enough is enough!" you can end up in an endless cycle where it never actually gets done and you just end up wasting time an effort that could be better spent being put into something new. Speaking of which, there will probably by another new single out from the album and then its on to brand new things!!

Anyway, did you have a good weekend? This weekend I went to this club in Kings Cross, I don't remember what it was called, or for that matter even how we went there but it was quite fun. Although, as usual, the stamp mark took ages to come off my hand so inevitably I looked like I'd been interned at Guantanamo Bay or something. Why do they have to use ink that is so resistant to washing!? I know I'm a heffer but I do not wish to be branded! Not a great look, I think you'll agree. Speaking of heffers, I also ate a burger the size of my head which was rather enjoyable. It was one of those 'gourmet burger' places that have suddenly sprung up everywhere in London over the past couple of years. All competing against each other in increasingly cutthroat beef-wars. Anyway the main point is that when I went to the bathroom in the restaurant I saw this:

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think I could even achieve this let alone be warned not to do it!
Then, I thought that they probably had to put this up for a reason...everyone, please, do not attempt this!
